Orangeville Horse Show
Had a great time, was my first time to Orangeville and love the town. I think I could live there if I could afford it. We arrived early afternoon, they were just finishing up a competition so we had to wait till after lunch for the riders to come in. We took a walk to the stables to visit with the horses waiting patiently, some not so patiently to get out of their stalls. I was quite happy to see some mares toting along some new foals. Veronika meet and had hands on with a four month old foal. Mommy wasn't far and didn't fuss at all. Veronika wasn't intimidated at all by the little guy and even wanted to get a photo with him. I'm sure he'll grow up to be a handsome horse. Loved his white socks! We brought along Terrica, Denny's niece and she didn't seem to mind the horses too much. Which I found amazing since she's afraid of our dogs. Even Denny posed with the little guys mom, she's absolutely adorable.
On the way home we stopped off at a farmers market and picked up a few things. Gotta love fresh veggies from our local farmers. I'm all for supporting local farmers rather than the big guns like Metro etc... Sorry guys, but if we don't support them they'll just die off and then were will we be getting our food from?? I'm not willing to pay importation fees for food that could be grown locally. Anyway that's another story.
Here's what we bought today, the corn was sooooo freaking good, nice and sweet.
